Lilia Saga Continues

I can't believe this and I say it often today, but I CAN'T BELIEVE I AM STILL PREGNANT. At 9 o'clock this morning I was supposed to call the hospital and see if I should come in for my 9 am induction. They called me at 8 and said I was on "temporary delay" I was fine with this because there were a few final things I wanted to get done and I felt like I needed more time. In my head I thought they would call me around 1 or 3 o'clock and have me come in. I cleaned my entire house top to bottom and mopped my floors with out a single contraction!

After finishing around the house I made Jacob and the boys come with me to a few stores so that I could keep moving. We went to Old Navy grabbed Eli some pants and Jacob a shirt. By now the boys were starving so we wanted to have a fun day with them so we went to Peter Piper Pizza. We ate lunch played some games and had a good time. After Peter Piper we head home Jacob took the boys and they all had naps and I went to do the rest of my errands. I walked around 3 stores paid a bill and then headed home.

By this point I was getting depressed. I thought for sure the hospital would call or with all the activity I would go into labor. I had a 4:10 appointment with Dr Huish that I thought would never happen. Well it did. We made plans to drop the boys off and see the Dr. Depending on what happened there we were going to go to dinner and a movie and try to calm me. I saw the Dr and I am dilated to a 4 and 60% effaced. That was progress but obviously at this point she wasn't coming. Dr Huish asked if I wanted my membranes stripped. It didn't work last week and I thought I am getting induced in the morning might as well get one more good nights rest. I chickened out. I am so mad at myself for doing that but I just really didn't want to.

Jacob and I left the Dr and head to the movies to see the new James Bond movie. The movie was long but it was pretty good. After the movie it was late and all the Sushi places I wanted to eat at were closed so we just got the boys and headed home. Jacob has been supportive and has tried to help me get through this but he is also super annoyed with me too. Hopefully we get a call first thing in the morning for EVERYONE'S sake.

This weeks thoughts...

Tomorrow is a big day at our house. Lilia is officially being evicted tomorrow. Both boys came out at 38 weeks, but not our dear sweet Lily. Since the boys were large and nearly 2 weeks early Dr. Huish has scheduled an induction to give me a better chance at delivering a baby rather then Lilia getting to big. I am so grateful that the end is in sight and that we will have our sweet baby girl in our arms soon enough. However at the same time I am very frightened. Well I guess if I am being honest I am more calm today, but the past couple of weeks I have been super scared. I remember with the boys I just wanted them out. I was done being pregnant and I was ready to move on. With Lily I go back and forth, one minute I need her out and the next she is just fine where she is. (I guess that is a good way of telling it just isn't time for her to be here.) I am not so much scared at this time to have her, but of the induction itself. I heard it is more painful and can last way longer. I also fear that she won't come out and I will have a c-section which in my mind is the most horrible thing. This whole week these thoughts have been going through my head and so it has made for a not so pleasant week.

Today I think I have calmed down a bit and relaxed my mind. I have ALMOST accepted the concept of it is what it is. Jacob on the other hand is great he is a on a spiritual high and is in a very good place. He is trying really hard to understand where I am coming from and really help me. He gave me a blessing this evening with his dad and uncle Fred. He was a sweet blessing and it comforted me even more. I have accepted that I can do whatever comes. If it's more painful that is fine women do this all the time. If is is long that is ok too. I have set the whole time aside just for the sweet girl. We are so excited to meet her. If I get a c-section I have a fabulous dr and live where I get excellent medical care. I know this post isn't one of my best and probably shouldn't be remembered, but I just wanted to remember how scattered I was. Hopefully I will read this in the future and think man I was freaking out over nothing.

Lilia's Nursery

Lilia's nursery has taken forever, but it has been worth the wait. I just love how it turned out. I know I will be spending a lot of time in there so I am so happy I love it so much. Here are the final shots...

This room has been a labor of love with a lot of help. The curtains were made by my cousin Sarah. Sarah also helped me pick out the fabrics and organize my thought as well as finish the sign above her bed. The bedding is all custom made by a girl I found on face book.  The dresser is an old antique I bought and my friend Joanna redid. I added the knobs from hobby lobby. The rest of the stuff I made the bow board, towel rack. The pictures above the chair. I Painted the table, accent in the frame shelf and blanket basket. Jacob helped me put everything up. I think the room is perfect...if only it were just a little bit bigger :) oh ya and I just need to find a lamp.

2012 Election

Today started out as a optimistic day. I went to the Dr and he was going to strip my membranes. With Eli and Liam I had the baby that day or the next. I thought for sure today was going to be Lilia's birthday. Today was also the 2012 election and by all the polls it was a tight race and I had hope that Obama would be kicked out of office and America in my eyes would have a much brighter future. If someone told me I could only have one of these thing come true today I would have picked Obama loosing, BUT I think I would have paused to think about it for like a second, because I REALLY don't want to be pregnant any more.

Amway the Dr stripped my membranes and the contractions started. Yippee I was on my way. I requested a early ballot and it didn't come so I went to the polling place to vote. I posted this sweet picture on instagram which later Jacob called a Boobie gram. Under it I wrote. I voted for Lilia's future today. You should too.

I went and got Eli from school visited with Linda and then went to the park for a play date. After that the boys looked pretty tired to we went home. I put both down for naps and I relaxed after all my walking that morning. My feet are super swollen. For the next 3 hours I had painful strong legit contractions every 5 minutes lasting a least a minute. I even called Jacob to prep him that once it got down to 3 or 2 minutes we were going to go to the hospital. Jacob actually finished work early and came home. Well about 30 minutes after he got home my contractions just stopped. NOTHING! That was the end. I went into major depressed mode. I even went with Jacob to help people move, but nope nothing. Jacob put the boys down and tried to comfort me.

I tried to distract myself with the election but that was too stressful for us. Jacob said lets just watch something else and we will find out later. I went and took a nice long shower then posted a super depressing and scary picture on Instagram I was so bummed. I wrote this afternoon for like three hours I had contractions five minutes apart. I am no sitting on my couch sulking. I thought by now I would no longer be prego. Now if this election goes bad things will go from bad to worse.

A while later I received a message from my post that said...your day just got worse. Jacob and I were shocked, upset and pretty mad at the American people. This day that was full of hope turned into one of the worst days. Jacob quickly reminded me I was being silly and said a quote by president Packer I couldn't find it but it goes something like this, "Some suffer terrible trials, and sadly some only imagine they do." Jacob was right. I was sitting here thinking the world was over and really I have everything. I have a life most people just dream of. I have a fabulous loveing husband, two healthy boys, and Lilia is just fine where she is at.  Romeny lost the election fair and square he didn't even win the popular vote. I can only hope and pray for Obama and the rest of the country and believe that he is trying his best to make things better for all of us, and not just push his agenda. We after all are not in his hands, we are in the Lords hands and well sometimes we just need to be reminded of that.

Instagram November 1st to November 5th

This guy is following me everywhere today. He NEVER follows me.

I have been to the zoo hundreds of times and every time the Rhino is in the corner and looks like a rock. Not today out and about. We were very excited.

This little boy loves his papa. he like to sit and eat nuts with him.

Eli is currently into dressing himself. Therefore sometimes we run around town looking like this...

This cute little boy is snoring away and I am starring at his beautiful lashes.

Made our pumpkins into turkeys today. The funny part is they both keep saying cock a doodle do. Haha city kids.

Out for our last big night on the town for a while. Spending some nice one on one time with my hunk.

Halloween

Halloween this year was a blast. I was worried the whole time I would go into labor after all the contractions I had been having. However during the day I didn't have too many. After eating dinner and taking the boys I around I figured it was ok if labor started cause I wouldn't have her until the next day which was fine as long as it was Halloween. They boys and I went around just our neighborhood this year. They seemed to really like it. We went down our street and one more street down that was decorated pretty cool. Jacob joined us for the first street which was pretty cool, because he has never joined us before! After those streets they said they had enough candy and wanted to go home.  I wanted to walk some more so I just walked the boys down one more block to look at the houses. This street had a super cool and way scary house that both boys walked down. They both were fine and it didn't even scare them. People tired to give them more candy at the houses, but they said no thank you they had enough candy. Haha I thought that was so funny. I never heard of kids saying that before. After the street we went home and helped daddy finish up passing out all the candy. Jacob and I let the boys have a few pieces and then we put them to bed. We stayed up to watch a scary movie, but hated it so we watched the Office instead. Overall it was an A+ night. Oh ya and all the walking kept giving me contractions, but NOPE NOTHING!

Had a little party at the park today. They found ghosts, dug for bones and decorated cookies. We had so much fun.

Quick stop by the pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin for dinner.

Every year same dinner. Right out of a pumpkin.

Daddy loves to scare the kids. Eli is helping and Liam just eats all the candy he sees

Instagram October 25th to 30th

Trunk or treat was tonight. To say they were excited was an understatement.

We finally hung some things in Lilia's room. I just love it! It stays let her sleep for when she wakes she will move mountains.

Lilia exactly 37 weeks. I have decided I don't want her to come out until after Halloween. Eviction starts Thursday:)

Eli and I got invited to join Daddy at the cardinals game. Got on our Cardinal gear. Go Cards!

Daddy and son just enjoying some BBQ tailgating. They think they died and went to heaven.

Like father like son. Jacob and Eli are gunna leave with no voice left.

Hanging with this little guy at my Dr's appointment. he gets so excited he says, "Mom read book and bebe hart."
Tried to spell that how he says it but doesn't really do it right :)
