Christmas Sunday

When I was little we always got a new outfit to wear to church on Easter and Christmas Sunday. I didn't really buy outfits this year however I did dress the boys up and we took a picture in front of the tree.

Jacob is not in the picture because he was sick and didn't go to church. Since we wasn't dressed up he was not invited in the picture...but of course we still love him!

Boxes

I am doing a little redecorating in the guest bathroom. I ordered some stuff online and when it came the box was full of packing peanuts. Of course I let my boys play in them...

Eli liked to break them in tiny little pieces and Liam liked to eat them.

Before you miss our Gingerbread house....

Jacob bought us a Gingerbread house kit and we thought this would be a wonderful family home evening. I should have known from these first two pictures that this was not going to be a good experience....

Liam Screaming!

It started off ok. We even had my dad there the master home builder to help us out. Everything looked good until we went to put the sleighed together and noticed we were missing one of the reindeer. At this same time we noticed Eli was gone. I soon found him hiding...eating the reindeer.

After he was done eating Eli decided this was when he was going to come and help. My dad at this point had enough he put together the house and I think was tired of me chasing Eli and Liam screaming. Now it was just up to us...

It all feel down so Jacob just threw all the candy on it. Then he changed his mind and saved it....again.

Decorating for Chirstmas

Where's Liam?

Considering that Liam is barely 6 months old, and he can't walk or crawl it would seem weird that we found ourselves asking the question, "Where's Liam?" How on Earth do you miss place a baby may ask...well it's simple....

One beautiful Sunday afternoon I was in the kitchen with my mother making Sunday dinner. Jacob was in the man cave with the two boys. My brother Lee came over and wanted to play some football because the weather was so nice. He picked up Liam and was talking to my mother and I in the kitchen. About ten minutes later I see Eli, Austin and Lee playing football in the backyard. I then saw Jacob walk by and I asked, "Where is Liam?" He said I thought you had him. I replied, "I thought you had him!" At this point we all look at each other like where the heck is Liam. We actually checked all the rooms in the house...kind of silly since he can't really get the far. I went out back to ask Lee where he set him and this is what I found...

Lee had just taken him outside with him and put him in the grass. He was so happy to be outside with the men. I thought it was so cute. So I got him a blanket his own ball and let him stay out with the MEN.
