Watch out Liam Coming Through!

If someone asked me when Liam started walking I honestly wouldn't know how to answer them. Liam has been taking steps here and there forever, but if I ever tried to get him to walk to me or if he got wind that I was trying to get him to walk he would through the biggest fit and throw his body down. Then when I would catch him walking I would run to get the camera and as soon as he would see me with it he would throw a huge fit. However I finally got some footage of him walking. He is so funny because now he does it a lot and he carries the biggest things around the house. Like giant hippos or heavy stools. He's a funny kid.

Cuddle bug or Lounge Lizzard?

I catch Liam doing this to Marley A LOT. I am not sure if he just loves the dog, thinks he is soft or comfy, if he copying the dog or if it's all three things but he loves to do it. I think he just likes to cuddle! I know I am one lucky mama!

The Jury is still out on what Marley thinks of it too.

Happy Independence Day!

We haven't felt like we traveled enough (just kidding) so the day after getting home from Coronado we took off to the cabin to celebrate the 4th of July. We went up with Jacob's business partner and our friends Spencer and Alisa Caldwell and their family. Also Lou and Dawn Jarvies came up with their youngest son. We hung out around the cabin the first night and then the next morning got up bright and early to head to Showlow for the Parade. This year we got really good seat and set up and nice spot for the kids. Eli and Liam loved the parade and got way to eat way to much Popsicle and candy. After the parade we went home to catch fireworks...there have been fires up north recently so they canceled them this year due to fire hazard. Our kids go to bed between 8 and 8:30 so Jacob had the wonderful idea of buying our own and having our own party. (that is finally legal in AZ now) So we did it and had a wonderful time. Liam liked the smoke bombs and the sparklers while Eli loved anything. He ran around so excited and was his daddy's little helper. Jacobs idea to have our own party was wonderful!

p.s we paid the scouts to put a flag out front of our house for ever holiday. Eli saw them putting in the hole for the flag and he was really excited. He would asked me for days and days after that where is our flag. When we came home from the cabin and it was out he was so excited. He wanted to take a picture.
