A Champ!

Tonight was hiked A mountain. We did this once before when Eli was about 20 months old and I was 8 months prego with Liam. We decided it was about time we did this again, so we joined the Gilmore's and the Brewer's on a little hike. We all got Port of Subs, and hiked the mountain together. Before we left the house we asked Eli if he wanted to climb and mountain and he said he did. When we got there Eli walked up but was going so slow I told to get Jacob to pick him up and carry him so we could keep up with everyone else. Eli did not like that and he threw the biggest fit. Jacob put him down like the great dad he is and we walked with Eli behind everyone else. It was getting dark so the group stopped at a nice stop just a tiny distance short of the top. Eli did not want to stop he wanted to go all the way to the top, so we went. I can honestly say Eli climbed that mountain all by himself. I am really impressed. Jacob is so excited to do fun little things like this with Eli. He obviously loves them!
