They Love Football

The title says it all. My boys love to play with this football or any ball for that matter.

Oh yeah and look who can sit all by himself and I didn't even know it...I wonder how long he could before I figured that one out!

Good Nap

Today Liam took a good nap. I didn't need to know how long he slept to know it was good I just had to see his face.

Temple Lights

We decided one night to go see the temple lights with the boys. We meet Adam and his girlfriend Areil down there. Every year we try to take Eli he falls asleep and we have to wake him up. This year was no different. I am glad we did it thought because it wasn't that cold the night we went and Eli loved it. He keeps saying, "Yay Jesus birthday!"

Thanksgiving...kind of

As always we had a wonderful Thanksgiving and as always I didn't really take any pictures. So you will just have to take my word for it that we did actually celebrate it. We spent it with the Ash's and the dinner was yummy. I was in charge of Green Beans and the stuffing. I made two green beans: Fresh and Green bean casserole and then as we were driving to Linda's (almost late) I realized I forgot to make the stuffing. I thought this was hilarious...Jacob did not! Anyway I called Julie (Linda's sister) she boiled the broth and we put it out before anyone really noticed my mistake. PHEW!! The dinner was yummy, and we had a wonderful time with the family.

This first picture is a picture of our Thanksgiving Tree. For FHE the Monday before Thanksgiving I cut leaves out and we wrote people and things we were thankful for on them. Then we taped them to the tree. We also turned Eli's Halloween pumpkin into a turkey. Eli would point at it and say "mommy what's this?" to which I would reply a turkey and he would say, "NO not a turkey. It's a pumpkin!" Then later he would let it be a pumpkin and it said GOBBLE GOBBLE but in a really funny voice!

These picture were taken on our way to thanksgiving...yes the only pictures I got were in the car.

Winnie Roast

Since it has finally started to cool down here. Jacob thought it would be a lot of fun to build a fire and have a yummy Winnie Roast. I went to the store got lots of different hot dogs, and stuff for Smores and we had our little party.

Eli was really cute about his hot dog. He was standing really far away cooking it. So far it was obvious it was not even cooking. My dad thought this was hilarious and then Jacob thought it was funny once he realized Eli was eating the uncooked hot dog! Eli cooked the Marshmellow the exact opposite. He would stick them right into the fire and tell me I burned it mommy. I burned it.

Oh yeah and I broke and gave Liam some smore...you decided if he loved it or not...

Vet Day!

Normally we just stay home on this holiday, but this year we thought we would go to the mesa parade. I am so happy we did! What a wonderful holiday, and Mesa did a great job remember our troops. I honestly started to cry about 8 times! I am so thankful for these men and women who sacrifice so much for us.

Ethan got a fat lip the night before. He was running at his house and feel flat on his face! The best part is the shirt he was wearing said Warning Parental supervision required.

Wake Up

Now that Eli sleeps in a big boy bed and Liam sleeps in another room. Eli no longer has the monitor in his room and I am not always sure when he wakes up. Today I went in Eli's room to check on him and he was sitting in his chair reading a book. He melts my heart. I went and got baby brother and when I came back my dad was in there with them too!

Rice

Liam has been ready for Rice cereal now for a while but because of the move and all the drama I just kept putting it off. Well tonight he had it and to day he loved it would be an understatement. This boy was so HAPPY to give some new food!
